Great food, decent prices, occasional traditional Mexican band. Good margarita's! Service is solid. Queso is great. But order the Enchildas Rancheros. That's where its really at!

Was craving Mexican food during July 4th weekend (already completed my burger intake), and stumbled upon this place after a quick Yelp search. Huge menu, big place, even bigger drinks. Sold. Settled in with a party of six (no wait). Ordered the Sangrita - part sangria, part margarita - but turns out there was a 20 minute waiting period because of a machine issue. Opted for a regular red sangria instead ($10) along with the Chimichanga ($10.50). Sangria was a strong 20ish ounces of booziness that went well with the chips. Chimichanga was standard fare - I got the regular beef, should have went for the grilled steak. Others got the fish, steak, tacos, and meat skewers respectively which were all delicious. Given that it was relatively busy and there were 6 of us, the service was pretty good (broken marg machine nonwithstanding). Prices are a tad high for Mexican food, but everything was very good, and they give you free chips and salsa to boot. Solid place for big drink or a family meal.

Food was awesome! Presentation was great! Service was a bit slow but overall great experience! And that's coming from a picky diner!

We love it here and have tried the burritos, tacos and Monterey Burger. Last visit we both had the Monterey, we like it so much. The servers are very friendly and work together, so you have someone walking by all the time. The only reason we had a less than 5 star experience is because it took about 10 minutes for someone to stop by our table.

This place is the best Mexican in Central Florida. Ask for Emmanuel, best waiter I've had. I like the brochette, beef, chicken, bacon and peppers! And the tall Dos Equis amber on tap. Great margaritas too

We hosted a Sunday lunch here not too long ago. We were able to make reservations and were promptly seated when we arrived. Drinks were great! I had a margarita. It was strong and flavorful. Several others with us had beers that they also enjoyed. For lunch, I had a chimichanga. It was well-prepared and tasty. I noted that the food style was more traditional Mexican than Tex-Mex despite the offerings. That's not a complaint-- just an observation. We all agreed we would be going back, preferably when it's warm enough to enjoy margaritas on the patio!

  • Jennifer M.

This place is great! The food is delicious and margaritas are perfect. We sat outside and enjoyed the chips and queso before our meal. The classic margarita is great and definitely worth it. The menu is extensive and plenty of authentic food. This place surpassed our expectations. We will be back.

This is the best Mexican food in Orlando. So many varieties of choice for food. This is not a typical Mexican restaurant with standard options. What's more their drink choices are also very creative

  • Daniel M.

I won't be back. Our party just had two quesadilla dinners that were only four pieces with no sides. One person ordered a beer that was supposed to be 16 ounces, but was served in a 12 ounce glass. My large Margarita was almost all ice. The service was poor, and we were met with a shrug when we said something about how small their portions suddenly became. It's not bad food, but there is a lot of not bad Mexican food in this town where the service is good and the portions are fair.

Large groups are tough for restaurants. The night I went there they had a couple big groups. They accommodated us well; food came out pretty much all at once; everyone got what they ordered. But the trouble was I felt like our waiter wasn't there. I wanted another water but never saw him. My food was fine but I wasn't overly thrilled. I would try this place again. My friend whose birthday it was loves this place.

  • Rosanna I.

Mmmmm mm mm. The hubby and I order Togo when we don't know what to get or don't want to cook at home. Also done in too, always a friendly welcome from the staff. A great choice would be, the fajita for two (a personal fave and reasonable price) with chips and dip. Also the food doesn't taste processed like some places. I give it a 4 star because sometimes when we order Togo the food will be a little on the cool side and the place is literally a walking distance from our place, and as soon as we order we would leave to get it. Again not always an issue but it's happened a few times.

  • Millie S.

Best Mexican food in the area! I'm hooked on their enchiladas verdes but my hubby loves the fajitas. Great margaritas and they don't skimp on the tequila!

    (4)
  • Meradith M.

They "aren't staffing" one half of the restaurant. Now people are coming in being told 40 minute wait. Absurd. My brother in law likes Mexican food. I don't. It's his birthday so I'm stuck and not happy. Waited too long already. Never coming back. They don't seem to want the business of our 10 top, anyway.

Been here before! Great service today. I had the burritos Mexicanos, very good. I left full and satisfied.

    (4)
  • Random P.

The margaritas here are too sour. My corn soup came out cold. The chips were stale. The salsa had a hair in it. My waitress chandler was not very attentive. Probably won't return

    (2)
  • Melinda W.

Some of the best Mexican food I have found since moving to Florida. The burritos are huge and full of flavor. My older some loves the steak and my youngest appreciates the kid friendly options as well. My husband has fallen in love with their tacos and would eat them daily if you let him. Only had slow service on one occasion. All other visits have been with good service it's definitely our go to Mexican place just a bit of a drive for us.

  • Jessica G.

Oh my goodness! This place was amazing! Service was super quick and the food was authentic and delicious. Reasonably priced and great atmosphere. It wasn't busy when we went but they have so much seating that I doubt you'd have an issue getting a table even on a busy night. Cannot say enough good things about Señor Tequila!!

    (5)
  • Robin F.

We love this place! We go about once a week. The food and service is fairly consistent. We've only been disappointed maybe twice, once for food and once for service. We find that the food actually comes out fairly quick unless it's a really busy night. They started charging for the 2nd salsa which I really don't like but they don't always add it to the bill. The fish tacos, grilled, are fabulous! I also like the shrimp enchiladas, chicken quesadillas and the broschetta. I've never had a problem with substitutions. I'm sure everything is fresh. Especially the salsa! Yum!

    (5)
  • Leslie S.

The good: The salsa is very tasty (even though you're charged for the second cup) as well as the fried ice cream. Senor Tequila is known for the margaritas. The bad: The service is terrible and it wasn't even busy. (The server didn't even know what the top shelf tequila was.) The fajitas were greasy but tasty and the tacos were just so so.

Authentic and savory and not to mention great atmosphere. Whether your looking to have a couple of cocktails or have dinner with family. Lunch is great too!

Been here 3 times and I have had to send back food back all 3 times. No sense of urgency or customer service. When management is confronted they are fast oncoming up with excuses and seem uncapable of solving the Issuse. 3 strikes! your out!

  • Caitlin S.

This place is amazing. I always get the burritos rancheros. (Pork with green peppers/onions burrito style, with a cheese sauce on top). I cannot express how amazing it is. The restaurant itself can be pretty loud sometimes but he food is always worth it. I only didn't give it 5 stars because the service can be shotty occasionally, but only occasionally. P.s. Their guacamole is pure heaven.

    (4)
  • Jackie N.

Señor Tequila has a good atmosphere and nice portions. The chips and salsa are made fresh and the margaritas are generously poured. They also have a pretty great "sangrita." I've only been twice and each time I wonder how the place is still in business. The restaurant is huge but I've only ever seen them open one side and both times there have only been two or three other occupied tables. I'm not sure what days the other reviewers are going when they say it's packed! That's only an observation though, the restaurant is still great. I just hope it attracts enough customers to stick around!

  • Kimber T.

The food has always tasted good, but the service has always been difficult. We've decided not to keep trying. It's sad too. There aren't that many Mexican places in WS.

    (2)
  • Tom A.

The foood has always been good here but some of my favorite are the "enchiladas poblanas and verdes" From the first time I heard about this place it has been a great discovery. The service is always great and even though it can be packed on certain days the service is still good. Price are okay. Be ready to wait if you stop by in here on a Friday or Saturday.

Absolutely wonderful! Drinks, food, service and the mariachi band was amazing!! I'm a fan and will be returning for sure! No complaints!!!

A group of about 10 of us went here for some after work cocktails last night. Do not get martinis here. I asked the bartender what sort of martini would he recommend, he really could not give a recommendation. I ordered an appletine, figuring that would be a safe bet. Glass was not full when it arrived and after 2 sips I could not drink it and had to send it back. A few of us ordered dinner. We were sitting at the high tops at the bar, I had to go up to the bar to put in my dinner order. After talking with friends this morning, all the people who had dinner, were all sick overnight. It was not just one dish. We all have different entrees, pork, chicken and beef. I have been here several times in the pass but this will proabably be the last time.

Heard about this place from my Brother in Law. We went I ordered the carnitas Tacos and my Husband had the Carne Asada both platters were delicious! We also ordered a side of Guacamole which was one of the best so far the acidity to saltiness in the Gauc was perfect and overall the food was enjoyable.

We kept passing this restaurant, which is in one of the only plazas on the nowheresville section of 434 en route to Altamonte Springs, etc. There is quite a bit of outside seating and the inside is clean and the bar area is inviting. We ordered two regular, house margaritas, which I must say were better than your average house margaritas. However, at $7 a pop, I think they should be. The large was $9, and since happy hour is an undoable 2 - 6pm Monday - Friday, I think their drink selection was a bit overpriced overall. We ordered the 3 enchiladas, which all came with the traditional red sauce, but had chicken and ground beef in them. We also got the El Sombrero, which was supposed to be rib eye steak covered in cheese sauce with lettuce, tomato, etc. sides and tortillas. I enjoyed the enchiladas, which were of average fare for Mexican food in the area. However, the El Sombrero was a joke. There was very little meat and what pieces were in there were tiny and gristle-ey. The cheese was shredded and not melted entirely. Even more surprising, there were pieces of what looked like bacon in there - which was not mentioned on the menu anywhere. It was very bizarre. I got a few tiny bites of edible steak, but overall ended up eating the lettuce and pico with guac. Overall, the enchiladas were tasty and, thanks to that, I would try something else off the menu. The server was polite and came back around at the proper intervals to refill our salsa, bring boxes, and a manager stopped by as well to see how we were doing. Not a bad place, but there is nothing that wow-ed me here. Just decent food if you're craving Mexican.

Wow where to start. We got there about 7:00, it was a party of 5. Had a 45 minute wait. We were finally seated at a booth with a chair on the side. There was a party of 30 kids behind us. We placed our order and had drinks. Our server said she will try to get the order in before the party of 30. Never did happen. We finally got our food. The fajitas were luke warm. I ordered 2 beef enchiladas which were bean. I sent it back. The servers apologized and gave us free dessert. I didn't have any. Needless to say we were still very disappointed. I blame the party of 30 which should have had special pre-reservations. I think the whole other diners suffered.

Yep. I know I am in the minority on this one! First off I have been here many times. The first time I came, it would have easily gotten 5 stars. Now, I struggle giving it one. The food is over priced, but good. The service is extremely poor from both servers and mangers. You have to pay for extra Salsa and chips (This above all is why this place get 1 stars... and once again I would give it less!) The food is not fresh and is mostly pre-made (my wife found this out when asked if she could substitute meats) when I last went, we got our food (after finding out that we would have to pay extra for more Salsa... seriously, they give you one 4-ounce cup, for four people?????) There was no silverware to be seen, but then again our server was missing as well. I had to get up and walk across the restaurant to find the manager. He said he would bring us silverware... five-minutes later, he was still walking around. This place has let the crowds and fame get to them. I for one, will not be going back, La Fonda has better prices, food, service, and the Salsa is FREE!

This is a really good tex-mex restaurant. I've been here a few times and overall the experience was good. Waiters were attentive, and service was quick. The food has always been very good. I've ordered a few different things and never had any issues. There was a bit of hiccup last time I went with slow service and it was not even a busy time. I guess it was a slow, super slow time. But the better experiences have out weighed the bad ones, so it is a good location to go!

We are big fans of Senor Tequila. We travel 25 minutes and go past several other places just to get the quality, atmosphere and good service they offer. Check it out!

Thought we'd give this place a try. Glad we did! It's kinda in the middle of nowhere but easy enough to find. Menu is Huge! Go hungry! We tried the veggie fajitas and the skirt steak fajitas. Both wonderful! Huge portions so share a meal with at least one other person. Prices are great and so are the mojitos! Outdoor seating is nice. Quac was a little disappointing, hence the one less star.

This is my second official check in. Well went with group and had to wait until the exact time of reservation. We had over 50 people in group. The servers were busy of course. Half of us got food then waited for any refills on chips or drinks. Anyways we had consumed food, boxed up leftovers. Then other side finally got served. Had to beg for check. Took it to cashier myself. I have no problem with food which is always good. If I wanted to serve myself I would go to a nasty buffet. We are locals not tourists. I expect a little more regular treatment. We give them monthly business. Yes we will be back but come on get it servers on the ball.

Stopped there to check it out and was not disappointed. Great portion size and fantastic atmosphere. My plate tho was more on the light warm side and a bit salty too. But other than that everything was excellent.

For as often as we've come here, I'm amazed I've never written a review! This a great local place where we often see neighbors and friends. The parking lot is ALWAYS packed but it's deceiving because there is always seating available inside. We get good service; some times it is better than others. The food is always fresh and their menu is quite diverse. The prices are not wonderful but not so out of bed that we stop coming here. Margaritas are their specialty and I'd drink many more of them if they were priced more reasonably. The music is always festive but never too loud to drown out your conversations. This is a great place worth trying~ I bet you'll be back!

Excellent atmosphere for a good laid back friday night dinner and friends. Authentic food is excellent for the price. LOVE the fish tacos! We go there anytime we're craving some good Mexican :) Don't forget to have the flan...Mmmm Mmmm so good!

Passable Mexican food for Orlando. Very suburbian with tons of kids running around and waitresses you can't catch because they are so busy. Lots of noise and commotion. It had a fun family night atmosphere. Kinda like the Mexican food version of Cici's Pizza.

Great Mexican restaurant option for oviedo/winter springs. Good selection, fresh approach, nice interior, and great patio with beachy feel.

Worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant!! And I work in one! I took my out of town family there, and it was my first time as well. Waited 13 min to be greeted, 15 minutes on drinks, over 1 hour on food we never received!!! When I told the manager what was going on he tried to argue with me telling me we didn't have a long ticket time.. Well I guess our server forgot to put in our order. The server came out after we had been waiting 30 minutes and told us the kitchen was really busy... We told him we understood, waited another 30 and he came out with the same. Which was odd because we watched everyone around us get their food and they all came in several minutes after us .. We finally got so hungry and my sister's 1.5 year old baby started getting fussy. We had to leave and eat fast food. They not only had a 5 hour trip back home, but they had a toddler. I will never return, the wait staff doesn't care, the management doesn't care, and worst of all the owner whom I haven't been able to reach doesn't care. I would avoid this place like the plague for you may leave hungry. I will make it my personal goal to warn everyone about this piss poor restaurant. Good luck if you attend.

Delicious! Delicious Delicious. No wonder there's always a crowd at dinner time. Love the Molcajete - sizzling seasoned meats in a delicious sauce - enough for two after you have chips salsa and margaritas! Their tequila menu is outstanding. They even have mariachi bands on some nights.

  • Lisa K.

I love, love, love señor tequilas. The service is wonderful, the bartenders are awesome, and the margaritas are to die for! I have always loved my food, especially the crab quesadillas, and I am always looking for a reason to return.

Good Mexican food with a varied menu. Salsa with fresh ingredients and plenty of tasty cilantro.

  • Arlene S.

Drinks are good, food can be a hit or miss. I have had the fish tacos, chicken/steak fajitas and chimichanga...all good. I do not recommend the chicken taco salad, it lacked flavor and the rest of the salad! Pretty much lettuce and chicken in a taco bowl. Place is newer, modern and clean. Nice outside sitting perfect to relax and have some drinks. They have a small bar you can sit and eat at as well. Service is good but they aren't to talkative. We asked one of the waiters once a question about where he was from, he just answered no and walked away. No intention of making any type of conversation. Overall good place and conveniently close to our house.

The food is great here. The menu is a bit large but has a lot of great entrees. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. However, if you happen to come when they are busy, good luck. The service is subpar and not very attentive. The servers seem to get overwhelmed and leave you waiting for a while.

    (3)
  • Albert P.

Terrible Customer Service! The server took more than 10 minutes to arrive to the table and welcome us. Kinda disappointed since I know the owners and their other restaurants are far superior.

  • BJ E.

Kind of reminds me of Don Pablo's. We sat in the bar area and the service was excellent. Having ordered a few different items a la carte, I can say that the portions were great. Definitely recommend the Chicken Quesadilla. Ground beef had a great flavor, as well. Atmosphere of the restaurant is upbeat unlike some of the other Mexican restaurants in the area that make you feel like the employees are ready to head back home.

  • Catalina R.

I come here regularly. Their lunch menu is absolutely amazing with good prices and large portions. I love the Nachos Supremos the most, they're huge and come with so much meat it's ridiculous. Most people only write reviews when the place is bad, but this one is just worth stating how good it is. The owners are usually on the floor alongside the waiters making sure things are going well and they will take care of any one who needs it. Oh, and the margaritas are huge! Margarita Tuesday is one of the best days to come.

Big space. Food is good, nothing spectacular. Decently priced. Friendly service. Seems like authentic Mexican. Not fancy, but an okay casual place to eat. Definitely a place I'd come back to.

Go to Mexican food - not too shabby. Too bad they limit your baskets of chips to two per table and charge for extra. Only 3 stars until they fix that nickel-and-dime practice...

Great restaurant. Food was delish, margaritas were awesome but the service was not great. We had a large party at lunchtime and they were very slow so it was disappointing not to get better service. Food was hot and really great. Will definitely try again.

Been here several times , never a problem . Took our family the other day worst service and the food was wrong and cold. Waiter and owner were extremely rude and said the kitchen was already closed !! Never going back! . HORRIBLE!!!

I really like this place. The food is just what I was looking for in an American Mexican restaurant. Good selection yet now overwhelming. I had the 3 enchiladas beef chicken and cheese. Good stuff. My girlfriend had the relleno and loved every bite. Will go back again and again whenever I'm craving Mexican.

Super burrito is a must. I promise you will be back..Awesome! The molcajete is superb. Full of meats, full of flavor. The service is good and attentive. The chips and salsa are very good. The classic margaritas are great. I've been here 4 time for lunch and I only wish I could live closer. I would be a regular for sure.

I'm hooked. What a great little gem and I'm a pretty harsh critic since I'm part Mexican and have had the real homemade versions plus lived in Texas for four years with my Mexican side of the family. This little privately owned place is a great place for top quality America-Mexican food. I say it that way because this is not the mom and pop Mexican food place. It is however a quality place for great food. All of the food is VERY fresh, and handmade. The chopped avocado salad/dip is a MUST. Perfectly ripe large chunks of avocado, red onion, tomatoes with hints of citrus, pepper and cilantro. So well done, subtle yet tasteful. I don't know the official menu item, I just asked for the one with the big chunks of avocado, tomato and onion. GET THIS DISH-- Molcajete - A hot lava rock heaped with sizzling beef strips, chicken, pork and shrimp. Topped with cheese, grilled cactus, peppers, onions. This was a stew of meats (think Fajita) but all fresh meats in this wonderful brothy stew. Extremely flavorful. We ate the meat right out of the pot, no need for Tortillias although that is how it is served. I have had the enchiladas verdes twice now and they are very very good. The chicken is shredded, but not in the yukky stringy way. It is large pieces of white meat chicken loosely shredded. My one "beef" is that the chicken is not seasoned, if it is it is pretty mild. I could use some more spice on the chicken. The verde sauce is very respectable but not mind-blowing. Chips and Salsa -hearty stone cut chips, and really unique hot sauce. They serve very usual salsa unless you also ask for the hot sauce. It is orange and seems like perhaps it is made with habaneros but it really wasn't extra hot. It was just hot enough to still be edible and delish.

Easily the best Mexican food we've had in the Orlando area. Located a little inconveniently for most people (at Tuskwilla and 434), I imagine that this is really popular with the locals. If it isn't, it should be. Walking in, this place does not feel like a Mexican restaurant at all. It all feels very modern and shiny. The tv's are playing sports and they're playing muzak over the speakers. English was very clearly not the first language of our server, so it was a bit difficult to understand her at times, but she did her best and was very friendly. As we were all recovering from a night of drinking and some of us were getting ready for another one, we decided to skip the margaritas, but we saw other tables with them. They're huge - and everyone seemed to really love them. We visited on a Sunday afternoon, so no lunch specials. The specials are perfectly priced for lunch, and I'd definitely head up there on a weekday if it wasn't so far away. While we could have gotten some a la carte items to save a bit of money, we all chose to get regular entrees. Between us, we ordered carnitas, a super burrito (with no meat) and an enchilada. While we waited, we snacked on the complimentary chips and salsa. At most places, I ask for a hot/spicy salsa - but no need here. While I wouldn't really call it "hot", it definitely has a bit of kick to it - just enough to give it some really nice flavor. The food arrived, and they weren't kidding around when they called that thing the "super burriito". It's bigger than a mega-juana sized burrito from Tijuana Flats (which is huge to begin with). My wife was only able to finish half of it. The carnitas were great - the pork was easily shredded with a fork, but like most places - they just don't give you enough tortillas. Their rice and refried beans were excellent. Too many places mash their beans into oblivion; I like them to still have a some beany shape to them - these were exactly how I like them, and seasoned perfectly. Our friend really enjoyed her enchiladas as well. None of us were able to finish our meals and all walked out with carry-out boxes. We'll be back soon - if only to try those delicious looking margaritas. I'd just recommend coming here for dinner, or take advantage of the lunch specials during the week. The entrees are just too much food/money for a regular lunch. *Update* We came back for dinner and drinks. My wife ordered a margarita with Cuervo - considered top shelf here. It's big, it's pretty good - but it's a little overpriced. Maybe stick with the house margaritas.

Best margarita in town! My husband and I eat here for lunch and dinner all the time. The molcajete is amazing and easily a meal for two! If you want authentic Mexican food and a fun atmosphere go here!!

This place is consistently good. We typically visit twice a month. Service is always good for a busy restaurant. They have the standard Mexican fare plus some new things to try. Highly recommended,

Terrible - it has gone downhill. They serve the worst enchiladas ever, topped with spaghetti sauce with no rice and beans for $11. We will not go back to Senor Tequila.

Tonight was my last visit to this restaurant!!! I discovered this restaurant 3 years ago and have raved about it to everyone who would listen, if I had friends in from out of town I took them here, I recommended it to coworkers and friends but in the last year I have been very disappointed with the service. A few months ago I came for dinner and the service was awful, the waitress completely ignored my party of 3 for larger groups, brought the wrong meal twice to my friend and had a terrible attitude, couldn't even get the drink (soda) order right. I did something I have never done and called her manager to complain and he assured me he would call me back to compensate me for the bad experience but he never did. Tonight, our service was not as horrible as our last experience but it was not good. We were almost done with our chips before we even got our sodas! We had to reorder drinks from any waiter who walked by because our waiter rarely came to the table and our waiter wasn't even the one to deliver our drinks or food. The quality of food and cocktails is also not what it used to be. Sadly, we will not be returning to señor tequilas and I loved this place. Save your money and eat somewhere else!!

I've been to Senor Tequila's twice now. The food was great on both occasions. Full of flavor, served hot and I didn't pay for it when I got home. ;) The portions are generous too! Service was good but they tend to act a little bored so they'll drop by a little too often. yes, that can be annoying, sorry. The bar tenders are decent, but even though it was only my girlfriend and I sitting at the bar, they forgot what we were drinking. The place is clean, the decor is trendy and modern. The only thing holding them back is the location. They are far enough from 434 that requires a good sign, but that area isn't very busy either, so better signage could bring more business. The prices are average, the margaritas are 2.99 and its worth it. I think the manager could spend a little less time sitting at the bar on his cell phone, but thats my opinion.

They were very good, but don't know what is going on.. Food overly salty, the house guacamole, one of their specialties, not worth ordering anymore. The only redeeming thing are their margaritas and tequila selection. Very disappointing. They used to be so good.

Good drinks but the food and service can be a little hit- and -miss.

I love Mexican food. I am able to go to Mexico about 6 times a year, so I go into serious withdrawal when home. Probably the best Mexican restaurant in Central Florida. Had the señor tequila appetizer, two "cantina style" soft corn tacos. Reasonable prices, prompt service and nice atmosphere. I also thought the wait staff was polite and each had an appropriate amount of tables.

Yummy! Yummy! Fresh (free) chips and salsa. Over sized margaritas with generous food portion servings all along while enjoying festive music in the background. Not your everyday watered down American-Mex.

This is my family's go-to Mexican spot in the Orlando area. We've liked most everything we've had with the exception of the tamales which were dry & had little meat. The Guacamole Mexicano is awesome with its huge chunks of avocado & tomato. Other recommendations would be Enchiladas Rancheros & Seafood Quesadillas. Great chips & salsa too! For a special occasion I recommend going on a Thursday when they have a Mariachi band who are fully aware of their "tongue in cheek" status.

I've only been here once, but I had a pleasent experience. I went with a group from work, about 15 of us, they were able to get us a large enough able, were attentative (It took about 30 minutes to get all of our tabs/cards ran, but we were all talking anyway it and were such a large party I didn't pay attention). I had a chimi that was decent, I'm a sucker for Habeneros in casselberry, it wasn't as good-but it was good. Everyone's food looked so good-the burrito is hugee. I would go again, their margarita's look huge, def will check it out again! The place was pretty crowded when we went during a weeknight, might be a good idea to make a reservation.

This restaurant is a great Mexican place. I am not a huge fan of Mexican fare, but I really enjoy Senor Tequilas. The portions are great and when you order a shrimp dish, it has shrimp pouring out, not just two or 3 small ones. I love the chips and salsa as well.

hunh. After reading the others' reviews, I feel like I'm reviewing a different restaurant. The service was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. The food? well, not that great. The salsa had a soapy flavor and the food was bland. I left full, but not satisfied.

This place has the best Mexican food in town. It is always fresh and consistently good quality. Fajitas for two cannot be beat if you go with a friend and you must try one of their many excellent margaritas. Beware that the large draft beer is LARGE.

Best Mexican food in Central Florida! Great service, amazing Enchiladas Cancun, margaritas rocked ($8.25 ea/28oz), flan was one of my all time favorites. Ambiance is cool and modern, and the music is also great. Full bar and outside seating. Come check it out, I usually don't review restaurants, but u had to give it up for them!

Met my family here for a birthday dinner on a busy Friday night. This place is always busy on the weekends, but, as I showed up after everyone was seating, I had no wait (yeh for me). I had a pina colada, which was very good. Depending on the bartender, their mixed drinks can be very strong (Julio is the bomb). For my entree, I had the Quesidilla Cozumel, which has white cheese, crab, tilapia, and shrimp, with sides of mixed veggies and rice. The seafood is very good, and, in my opinion, the seafood dishes are their best options (although I've never had a bad meal here). This resturant is always on the top of our list of choices. My only complaint is that sometimes service can be slow, especially when you are ready to leave.

I would have to say 5 stars all the way. Of course we came here on the busiest day ever...Cinco...but the food was really good! I had the grilled fish tacos with rice and refried beans and ordered a side of fresh guacamole. The salsa and chips they give you when you sit down is so good that I wished they'd bottle it up! I was glad we tried this place. The food, drinks, and wait staff was great! I'll be going back when I'm in town and in the mood for good Mexican cuisine! You won't be disappointed here!!

Went again last night against better judgement since a group friends wanted to go there. Waited over half an hour for our reservation. Margarita was filled with too much ice and not enough liquor for $13 each. One server could not keep up with the amount of people we had. Flautas had dry meat inside of each one and could not even tell the difference between the chicken and beef, both were bad. Asked for hot sauce and by the time he brought it, we no longer needed it for our queso. Horrible service every time we've been and this night was no different.

Service is slow at times due to the high volume of people that come. This should be an indication of how good the food is. They've hired more staff recently but even so on a Friday night this place is hopping and the wait may be too much to bear for some. The food is really good and the drinks are good, strong too.

I don't like to write a review unless I have visited the business more than once. Last night was my third time here for dinner and it was awesome. The service was great, friendly and attentive. The food was really great. REAL Mexican flavor. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

The food was not that great the drinks were watered down the servers not attentive at all... In my opinion they are over priced for the little they offer in ambiance.

Best Mexican Food in Seminole Co.!!! Fajitas are so yummy! Margaritas are strong and well made. Food is fresh and authentic. They have a kids menu. Wide selection of items on the menu. My only complaint was there was no changing table in the bathroom to change my 6 month old.

Finally a great Mexican restaurant in Winter Springs located in Winter Springs Town Center! I had the enchiladas and my wife had the chimichangas. Any good Mexican restaurant starts with great salsa which this place has. We also tried the queso and guacamole which were fresh. There is a full bar and while we did not partake they appear to have a great tequila and beer selection. The service was friendly and efficient.

My wife and I had a horrible experience here. It started out good. The waitress seemed nice and the salsa was decent. The place looks recently remodeled. It is nice, new, modern and clean. Now for the food. I cut into my chile relleno and the whole plate was instantly filled with melted cheese and grease. I'm talking like a quarter inch of grease sitting on top of the cheese. The quality of the ingredients they use is horrible. I tried taking a few bites and it was bad. Very greasy with no flavor. I tried eating the rice and it was bland and overcooked. My wife's taco was not that different from one you get at Taco Bell. We just pushed the plates away after a few bites and told the waitress we were done. She could see we didn't eat anything and asked if we wanted to take it home and I said no. She took the plates away then came back with the bill. Nothing was taken off the bill- we were charged for everything. As she's handing me the bill, she says, "it was too greasy right?" I said yes and she just nodded, handed me the bill and walked away. I don't know how that place will stay in business.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
